A civil engineer, Robb is a career railway professional, bringing 35 years of international rail related experience (design, construction, maintenance, project management, strategy, planning and delivery, estimating, tendering) and a thorough understanding of railway operations.
Robb brings proven team building capability and excellent communication and organisational skills, coupled with an ability to maintain a strategic overview of business objectives, and particular interest in track and overhead construction and maintenance. Robb has worked on a range of projects around the world and is currently based in Melbourne.
Career highlights include working on the Jubilee Line Extension project in London, the Bangkok Elevated Rail Project, Alice Springs to Darwin Railway, Middleborough Road Grade Separation and Melbourne Public Transport Refranchising 1, 3 and 4.

Robert Macey
Commercial Advisor
Robert Macey has over 20 years experience in the transport and infrastructure sector, having held senior roles in professional practice in Melbourne, Sydney and London; with public sector project authorities and with private industry operators.
Rob has worked at executive level in government on major rail infrastructure projects and programs; held senior managerial positions in Australian rail businesses; advised on commercial transactions and bids for Australian and international operators; and has worked on PPP rail projects in North America.
Rob is currently principal at MACER Advisory which he established in 2019 specializing in bid and tender development and strategy, commercial and negotiation support, project review, stakeholder consultation, communications and executive and management support.

Daniel Rothfield
Principal Financial & Commercial Consultant
A Chartered Accountant and with an MBA from Monash University, Daniel has 25 years of professional experience (including 15 in the transport and infrastructure sector) and has held a variety of financial and commercial roles in a number of projects with a cross-section of industry participants including State Governments, Metro Trains Melbourne, Veolia Transdev, Keolis Downer, CDC Australia, CAF, Alstom, Kinetic Australia, SKM Consulting, South West Water and Ernst & Young.
Daniel’s approach to client engagements is to gain a thorough understanding of the business including operations, processes, demand drivers and range of external influences that shape the way the organisation works. His aim is to give real meaning and clarity to financial and commercial matters so that Executives and Managers are empowered with an improved understanding of the key issues so that better strategic choices can be made.
Marquee transport tender projects where Daniel has taken a leading role have included (but are not limited to) Melbourne Heavy Rail, Adelaide Heavy Rail, Sydney Ferries, Parramatta Light Rail, Melbourne Bus, Adelaide Bus and Wellington Heavy Rail.

As a finance professional, Evy has over thirteen years’ experience in the transport industry with a proven track record in leading the financial modelling team to secure the multi-billion-dollar project, analysing and interpreting complex financial data and developing financial models for major projects.
Evy has worked in a range of transport projects around Australasia and is currently based in Melbourne. Career highlights include working on the Melbourne Public Transport Refranchising 4, North- West Rail Link in Sydney, Adelaide Metropolitan Rail Franchise and Melbourne Airport Rail Link Project.

Associate Director Transportation Innovation, Strategy and Client Relationship
Ragu is a Civil Transportation Engineer and a postgraduate from the University of Manchester in Management and Implementation of Development Projects. He brings 15 years of experience in private and public sectors from the UK, India and Australia.
Ragu has expertise in both road and rail engineering. His rail engineering experience involves technical documentation for monorail and elevated light rail transit systems (ELRTS).
His focus is on implementing technology into the transport engineering and operational processes to ensure error-free, optimized, integrated and interoperable systems.
Career highlights include Norwich Area Transportation Strategy (UK). Norwich District Route (UK), North-East Link project, Interactive Information Box (IIB), Proximity card tolling system.

Brendan is mechanical engineer, with over 28years experience in heavy manufacturing, rollingstock, railway construction and maintenance holding lead roles in engineering, project development and delivery across the Australian rail industry spanning light rail, metro and heavy rail networks for private and public clients.
Brendan’s areas of expertise include developing and delivering rail infrastructure and rollingstock construction and maintenance projects, asset inspection, evaluation, and condition monitoring. Implementation of technology products and data analytics services within the rail sector.

Paul is a civil engineer with over 29 years of rail related experience in the project management and delivery of mutli-discipline rail infrastructure projects. Paul has significant experience in providing senior management, professional & technical leadership in the delivery and coordination of multi-disciplined works in the rail corridor, both greenfield & brownfield, associated rail station & precinct including utilities management.
Paul is passionate about delivering complex rail & civil infrastructure projects & developing solutions to overcome the project constraints such as accessibility & logistics issues in built up environments, to clearly define & resolve critical interfaces issues to enable the development of innovative construction methods to ensure the efficient delivery of projects. Areas of expertise include project management, constructability advice, design integration & review, planning, estimating & tendering, understanding of railway operations & maintenance.
Career highlights include working on the Sydney Metro Line Wide project, Sydney Metro – North Shore Signalling upgrade, Northern Improvement Alliance, various projects for ARTC & Sydney Trains in a construction & maintenance capacity & the MTRC Tsueng Kwan O Extension in Hong Kong.
